Description

hanks to the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine's Gulf Research Program, we are excited to offer paid professional development opportunities to 30 teachers in Louisiana this summer.

Join the Tulane Center for K-12 STEM Education to learn about current coastal deltaic issues in the region, and how to introduce and engage students in understanding how these issues impact their lives. Upon completion of the PD, teachers will receive a $450 stipend and curriculum ideas to take back to their schools that align with Louisiana's science teaching standards to engage their students on the impacts this problem poses on natural resources and resource management in the region.
