Global Leadership Academy

Global Leadership Academy is a year-long global citizenship program focused on helping high school students build professional and interpersonal skills to engage meaningfully with the world.

Through hands-on learning, simulations, and creative problem-solving, students will gain a grounded understanding of global approaches to everyday issues.

Most importantly, Global Leadership Academy seeks to connect students with internationally focused professionals and build a community of aware, engaged, and professionally competent students prepared to become change makers in the community and abroad.

Whether students are interested in studying or working abroad, or bringing change to their own neighborhood, Global Leadership Academy is designed to raise their awareness that we are all part of a global community, in need of international solutions.

Over the course of the program, students will develop a sense of their own leadership style, collaborate with students from across the city, and design creative capstone projects that engage with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through the medium of their choice.
