Welcome back, educators! Teachers from across the New Orleans area are invited to our first educator open house of the school year to explore opportunities available for your classroom and students from the Historic New Orleans Collection’s education department.
This event is open to all educators, administrators, librarians, museum professionals, and educational volunteers. Admission is free with registration and includes lunch and access to HNOC exhibitions.
Plus, a li’l lagniappe: Hosted the same day at our museum, participants are invited to attend Bunny Day, an all-day event celebrating the life and work of cartoonist Bunny Matthews, the subject of HNOC’s new exhibition, Bunny Matthews: His Life, Art, and Obsessions. Admission is free and open to the public.
The Historic New Orleans Collection (THNOC) is a free museum, research center, and publisher located in the heart of the French Quarter dedicated to preserving the history and culture of New Orleans and the Gulf South.
