Description
The HBCU Innovation Internship program provides two paths: a STEM Connect Internship and a Startup Internship. In both of these programs, you will gain resume-building experience, valuable connections, and insight on how to build your career!
The HBCU STEM Connect Internship will provide access to marketable, resume- building experience for students, and also develop a graduation-to-employment pipeline. Participants will gain real life experience in their field of study, receive professional mentorship, and acquire industry contacts to help facilitate their transition into the workforce.
The HBCU Startup Internship will help increase startup activity of HBCU students in our region by providing real-time experience to foster entrepreneurial ideation and development. Participants will develop creative capacity, entrepreneurial confidence, mentorship, and acquire the necessary skills to build scalable startups that solve real problems.

The Greater New Orleans Region One Center for STEM (GNOrocs) is a subsidiary of GNO, Inc.- an economic development organization, focusing on parishes in the Greater New Orleans regional area. GNOrocs is committed to the sustainability of the Louisiana Regional STEM ecosystem by placing STEM education at the center of nationwide efforts to provide our students with 21st century skills.
