Description
Thank you for your interest in our Leadership Development Program. We are excited to connect with you and review your submission. Please note that submissions are reviewed on an ongoing basis, so we encourage you to submit as soon as possible. The final deadline for submissions is Saturday, August 31, 2024.
Participants in the program will have the opportunity to:
• Gain in-depth knowledge about our union, our schools, and current educational issues.
• Engage in action research and complete a personalized research project (no prior research experience required).
• Receive a stipend of up to $1,500 for completing the program.
• Attend in-person sessions one Saturday a month at the UTNO office from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on the following dates: September 21, October 19, November 16, December 14, January 25, February 22, March 22, and April 19.
• Present their action research during a showcase at the final meeting.
• Contribute to building the power of our union.
