Description

The Experiment Digital: Youth Leadership & Community Service virtual exchange is designed to connect hundreds of young people across the United States with peers in the Latin America (LATAM) region, such as Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, French Guiana, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

Throughout the free, eight-week virtual experience, participants will learn project development and goal setting techniques, practice community asset mapping strategies, and analyze different leadership styles: all with the ultimate goal of designing community projects that offer localized solutions to any identified need of their choice. The program content is accessible (low bandwidth), balanced (features global perspectives), and relevant (addresses current issues).

The Experiment Digital Virtual Exchange Program prepares participants to be more civically engaged and lead change. This fully funded six-eight week summer virtual experience for high school students.
