Glassroots
Glassroots is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that was founded in 2021 to expand access to recycling. We do this through free glass drop, educational opportunities, and community building. We partner directly with communities to ensure our services benefit people and the environments they live in. Our partner organization, Glass Half Full, breaks the glass back down into sand and uses it for coastal restoration, disaster relief, art, and a myriad of other ways. Recycling takes a village and that’s why we engage the local community at every step. We are a glassroots movement to not only divert waste from landfills but educate and empower recyclers around the country. When individuals unite, there is no stopping us!
