Description
Get ready to level up your adulting skills with our College Prep Workshop - it's time to embrace the chaos of the real world!
Join the COOL Cooperative at Second Line stages for this essential workshop, designed for high school seniors preparing to make the leap from living at home to thriving on a college campus.
We will focus on the practical "real-life" skills necessary for independence, including basic financial literacy, managing a personal schedule without a bell system, and the fundamentals of communal living and dorm safety.
By discussing the social and emotional shifts that come with campus life, students will leave with the confidence and tools needed to navigate their new environment, handle adult responsibilities, and successfully bridge the gap between high school and higher education.
This workshop is only for high school seniors.
What is The COOL Cooperative? A weekend + after-school program for middle & high school students that gives immersive film-education led by real industry pros. Certificate of completion when you graduate.
