Whether you're just getting started or already part of the SLL family, this event is your chance to connect, celebrate, and gear up for an amazing school year. Open to all educators and newsworthy for anyone passionate about education in New Orleans!
Here’s what to expect:
Explore the Space: Tour the fully-stocked equipment Lending Library and discover new materials, programs, and tools to elevate your classroom.
Meet-Up Fair Gumbo: Meet partner organizations from across all subject areas offering field trips, lesson plans, PD workshops, guest speakers and more—all in one place!
Free Supplies: Be among the first to shop the Teacher Free-Store when it reopens! Attendees on 7/30 will be given the earliest chance to select a timeslot to shop the free-store the week of 8/3.
Good Food + Good Vibes: Enjoy free food and drinks while networking with fellow educators, partners, and the SLL team.
Attendees can expect an open-house style event packed with festive vibes—food, tunes, bingo, and hands-on stations showcasing our newest materials, services, and programs. It's a perfect chance for new teachers to explore the space, sign up, and learn how SLL can support their classrooms throughout the year, while returning teachers get to reconnect and discover what’s new for the year ahead.
STEM Library Lab fosters high-quality active learning by providing teachers and students with access to equipment and support to drive student success.
