Description
Get inspired on how to incorporate sustainability, accessiblity and creativity into your class curriculum! Engage and deepen retention for students with learning differences through hands-on, tactile experiences.
This is a collaborative event with KIDsmART, Spectrum Arts, and our Teacher Free-Store. There will be multiple activities available to engage with. There is a Found Objects mural presentation. Head librarian Szabi will help you develop a found objects mural to integrate art with a specific classroom lesson plan. This is relevant to all grades, all subject levels.
KIDsmART is hosting build a sensory board station to walk you through creating a tactile board that supports soothing overwhelmed and overstimulated students of all abilities.
The Teacher Free-Store is hosting a Candyland-themed Sweep of art supplies! This portion is particularly relevant to visual arts teachers.
